Hilman Engineering designed custom die handling roller with four hydraulic
This custom Die handling 6-DL roller was entirely custom designed and build for our client Jeld-Wen. It features our endless chain and load plate design bolted into an outer frame that has four hydraulic rams built into it.
Traditionally, hydraulic cylinders would be mounted to the top of the frame but in this case Hilman Engineering designed the frame with the four hydraulic rams and porting built right in it. The frame is the cylinder body and our load plate bolts right in. For this application, the customer had height requirements and Hilman Engineering was able to come up with a sleek design that accomplished all of their goals.
