Individual Rollers There are hundreds of different models of individual Hilman Rollers. Standard Hilman Roller model capacities range from ½-Ton to 1000-Tons. If you require capacity in excess of 1000-metric tons from a single, individual Hilman Roller we encourage you to contact us to discuss your application in greater depth. There are several different models available with the same capacity, with different dimensions and suitable for different applications. Please review the different series of Hilman Rollers below to learn more about each series and view the different capacities. As well visit the page about how to select your rollers. Some things, in general, to remember about Hilman Rollers. All Hilman Rollers are rated in metric tons. Hilman Rollers are available in the following Series:
Individual Light Duty Series Hilman Rollers are some of the handiest Hilman Rollers you can own. Easy to secure and store. Individual Light Duty Series Hilman Rollers are available in two different capacities, .75-Ton and 2-Ton. Choices of Top Styles include Rigid-Smooth (RS), Rigid-Pad (RP), Swivel-Smooth (SS) and Swivel-Pad (SP).

FT Series Hilman Rollers are the most popular choice because they have the widest array of top configurations. First choose either Swivel or Rigid and then choose your contact surface; either Smooth steel, Diamond steel or a Padded top. Any swivel top variety can be selected with or without the Locking feature.

Individual ERS Series Hilman Rollers have greater capacities and lower profiles than the FT Series Hilman Rollers. Optional Swivel Attachments and Handles complete the versatility by making turns easier. Swivel Attachments feature Locks and are offered with Diamond or Padded tops.

Nyton Series Hilman Rollers are ideal for moving heavy machinery and equipment on delicate floor surfaces. The goal of the Nyton Series is floor protection. They work very well on epoxy coated and sealed concrete floors as well as some types of tile floors. Nyton Series Hilman Rollers are all offered with padded tops to accommodate slightly uneven floor surfaces.

The Bull Dolly Series is the newest axle and wheel design from Hilman. Available in Nylon and Polyurethane wheels these dollies not mar concrete, or most other, floors. Individual capacities up to 6-ton and prepackaged kits with capacities up to 24-tons, these dollies will be used. Steel wheels are available as well
The OT/NT/T-Series Hilman Rollers are the no-frills type of rollers that, if necessary, can be easily modified a little or a lot, to custom suit your application. They are typically used in semi-permanent and permanent type applications, with or without guidance; such as on a Die Transfer Cart or as bearing for a thermal expansion joint. Standard designs can have one or more modifications added to them to create a unique product. It should be noted that this series is related to the Wide Body-Series and the Super Heavy Duty-Series Hilman Rollers in that at a basic level the designs are all similar to one another. OT-Series rollers have an Oversized top that extend over the sides of the roller frame. NT-Series rollers have a Narrow top that extends over the ends of the roller frame. The tops of the OT & NT-Series rollers have standard hole patterns. T-Series Rollers have tops that are flush with the roller frame on all sides. These are thought to be ideal for cavity-mount type applications. OT/NT/T-Series rollers range in capacity from .75-tons up to 75-tons. OT Dimension Chart
OTB/NTB/TB Series Rollers are nearly identical to their OT/NT/TB counterparts with the main difference being the addition of two end-blocks on either end of the roller frame. The end-blocks have a drilled and tapped hole pattern that allows for the addition of an external guidance system (Accu-Roll). In many case, guidance systems can be interchanged. Note that there are some dimensional differences in the top plate from the OT/NT/T counterparts. OTB Dimension Chart
WB Series Hilman Rollers are an extension of the OT/T/NT Series mainly because of the design and top plate choices. The main difference is that the WB Rollers are wider and shorter in overall length. WB Series Hilman Rollers utilize two separate chains that provide a wider footprint. WBNT Dimension Chart
Super Heavy Duty Series Hilman Rollers (SHD Series) are the highest capacity rollers that Hilman offers as standard models. It is essentially an extension of the OT/NT/T Series in terms of top configurations and capacity. SHD Series rollers range in capacity from 100-tons to 1000-tons. There are several different models of 150-ton and 200-ton SHD models. By no means is 1000-tons the highest capacity roller we’ve ever made. Presently the single most highest capacity Hilman Roller ever made is rated at 5000 metric tons. The relationship between the SHDB Series and the SHD Series is precisely the same as the relationship between the OTB/NTB/TB Series and the OT/NT/T Series Rollers. The addition of two end-blocks on the roller frame allows for the addition of an external guidance system (Accu-Roll). Note that there are some dimensional differences in the top plate from the SHD counterparts. XNTB-XNTLB-XNTWB-XNTWCB Dimension Chart Track Mate Series Hilman Rollers are designed with dual flanged rolls, for the purpose of self-alignment on a flat bar track. These wheel and axle style rollers require no lubrication and are offered in capacities up to 20-tons. Swivel tops and wipers are optional. As well the geometry of the roller frame can be designed to suit. Hilman can supply the flat bar track as well as turntables, for a complete system. Standard Track Mate models are available in four different capacities, up to 20-tons, with a choice of a rigid-smooth or swivel-smooth top configuration. Standard Track Mate models:
Hilman’s ERF Series Rollers are essentially the same rollers in our OT/T/NT Series Rollers, without any top plate. This series allows users to weld their own top plate on or affix them to an existing steel structure (suggested for vertical loading only). Hilman offers standard ERF Series Rollers up to 125-ton capacity

Hilman Pipe Rollers are an excellent choice for thermal expansion/contraction at pipe joints. As well, they can be used to install new pipelines. We can provide pipe rollers in a number of materials to maintain pipe integrity as well as accommodating harsh environments. Hilman offers standard pipe rollers for diameters up to 24” and can engineer and design custom solutions as needed.
Hilman Space Saver Sheave are much smaller than traditional sheaves of similar capacity. The Space Saver Sheave is generally designed for use with wire rope or flexible pipe, where a low friction guide is required to accommodate the heavy load. Often used in offshore applications, we can provide these solutions with corrosive resistant materials

7.5-RS: 7.5-Ton Capacity Roller with Rigid-Smooth top

The Hilman Swivel Ram Roller is really two Hilman Rollers with a hydraulic cylinder between them. The cylinder is attached to a turntable and mounted such that when it is engaged, it will lift the load off of the rollers so that they may be more easily redirected. Retracting the cylinder puts the load back onto the rollers and the load can be moved in a new direction.
